UN 2009: Israel and Iran Heat Up!

Watching the leaders of the United Nations come together last month was intense and fascinating. Viewers heard many speeches, including that of our President. While our President didn’t get rave reviews from the American people, what captivated my attention and that of other Christians around the globe was the heat around Iran and Israel. There seems no other root cause for the threats by Iran to Israel than that of the age-old religious "entitlement" of rights to the land, which is based on Isaac and Ishmael’s descendants. Was Ishmael any less of a Jew than Isaac? If the Muslims claim the Bible to prove rights to the land, you would be shocked to know that the Qur'an is indeed the antithesis of the Word of God! It all boils down to the god of the Qur'an versus the God of the Bible.

One of the major offenses to the Jewish people foremost, Americans and other allied nations was the fact that the Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is really called a dictator by his own people, as he usurped the election system and placed himself in the presidency of Iran, denied the Holocaust of WWII! Later, he changed his wording to say the Holocaust needed “more research”. How can one even question the purposeful killing of 6,000,000 Jews?! To do so is to call the historical event of the Holocaust a LIE. Iran was the biggest ally of Nazi Germany, agreeing to the extermination of the Jews, not only in the greater European nations, but all throughout the Muslim countries. They accuse Israel of being racist? Antithesis again!!!

I sat on the edge of my seat to hear how Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, would address the United Nations forum in response to Ahmadinejad’s offensive statements. Oh, I cannot tell you how proud I was of him, how much respect I have for him, and how he represented the way of the LORD by not only proving the Holocaust with concrete evidence, but also his explanation of how Israel handled the Arabs when forced to defend herself. I thank God for Mr. Netanyahu, the wisdom and leadership God has given him, and we as a nation need to stand with Israel and never let another Holocaust happen again!

I’ve put the Youtube videos here of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech for you to see! He clearly and skillfully presented his message without malice or emotional anger. The way he defended the accusations of Iran’s claims that Israel attacked schools, homes, mosques and ambulances in defensive strikes, one who knows the Lord will see that Israel was incredibly compassionate and gracious to Iran, warning their citizens of the imminent attack BEFOREHAND! What HONOR! Truly, we know that Iran set them up for this accusation by placing their missile launchers IN schools, homes, mosques and ambulances! It is well documented that Iran uses children and other human shields without shame! Because they do this Israel was forced to strategically strike missile sites in Iran, sparing innocent lives the best they could.

Are we being too hard on Iran? Has their dictator been wrongfully represented in America? After all, Ahmadinejad clearly stated in his address to the UN that “We love all nations” and “We’re friends with the Jewish people”. The stupidity of such a leader is evident in that he is publicly recorded on video speaking out of both sides of his mouth. You will be amazed at the indoctrination of Muslims from the time they are very small children to chant “Death to Israel!” and “Death to America!”. Multitudes stand and repeatedly chant “America is a [defeated] regime with broken horns!”; “Our struggle with America is eternal…”; “Death to the filthy and accursed Americans!” Both Israel and America are cited as the "regime of Satan!"

Rhythmic chanting, which has elements of music and musical notes, is used in memorizing the Qur'an. The rhythms and pitches of the chants make it easier to recall specific prayers and passages of the Qur'an. You will now understand what you hear in this video:

I recently became acquainted with an outstanding speaker, who used to be a Muslim PLO terrorist! His name is Walid Shoebat. He married a Christian wife and tried to convert her to Islam. The Qur'an and the Bible sat side-by-side in their home. One day, he prayed. Up until that day, his prayers were never answered by the Allah of Islam. This time, he thought he would be “safe” by praying to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He says, “I dialed the right number!” He began to read the Bible and his eyes were opened!

Just as Gentile Christians do not have as much of an understanding of the Bible as Jews (i.e. the terminology Jesus used when speaking to them), we also do not have the understanding Muslims do when or IF they choose to read the Bible! Bottom line is, ALL of the nations God judges throughout the Bible are the nations of Islam! The more you listen to Walid, the more you will understand:

In my hub The Beasts of Revelation (aka The Unholy Trinity), I mention that Islam is expecting their 12^th Imam, or Mahdi (the guided one), and the prophet, Jesus (Isa) to reign for seven years. We know the Bible prophesies the Antichrist and false prophet will “reign” for seven years. The Allah of Islam is described in the Qur'an as the "Lord of the dawn”, the “Lord of the worlds”, the “Best of Deceivers”, and so many more! The antitheses of the Qur'an will take another hub to address more fully.

Let’s just look at how the Bible refutes these blasphemous Muslim names of God for a minute:

“Lord of the dawn”

Isaiah 14:12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the dawn! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”

“Lord of the worlds”

2 Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world [Satan] hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

“The Best of Deceivers”

Revelation 12:9 “And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”

To top it off, I recently read a book called What is the Antichrist-Islam Connection by Roland Back and Michael Back. While some eschatologists claim the Antichrist is of the European nations, or even the Catholic Church, they are grossly in error. If you read my hub The Beasts of Revelaion (aka The Unholy Trinity) there is a video there by Walid Shoebat, showing how even the mark of the beast originally written in Revelation is Islamic symbols.

The Antichrist is obviously going to “behead” the saints that oppose this mark of the beast, as is stated in Revelation 20:4 “and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

We need to pay attention to this dangerous dictator. Already, Iran secretly and defiantly produced nuclear facilities, which are now exposed, just as recently as the time of the UN assembly. Ahmadinejad has also boldly stated that he is attempting to accelerate the coming of their Mahdi. He is called to bring in the great tribulation? I can tell you, should he succeed at bringing in the reign of the Antichrist (Mahdi), the real Messiah will also be coming to destroy that Mahdi, his false prophet and bind Satan for His millennial reign in Jerusalem!
